Amado Territory Ranch Bird List
In 2003 The Tucson Chapter of the Audubon Society visited the ranch and put together the list below. This list shows our regular feathered visitors, but does not list every species we have seen on our 17 acres riparian habitat. We are located in Southern Arizona's migratory bird flyway which makes our ranch a unique birding spot all year round.
Positioned to the North and in the middle of the Santa Rita Mountain Range is Madera
Canyon. This canyon is home to a vast number of insects, mammals and birds. The lush
riparian habitat provides the perfect breeding grounds for such avian specialties
